YOUR VOLUNTEER RECORD
Track your completion
World Athletics hosts the learning and issues its own certificate. BehindEveryGame records the steps you report and reviews a certificate you choose to submit. We cannot see your live course activity on the World Athletics platform.
Volunteers aged 13–17 need verified guardian consent in their BehindEveryGame account before this pathway can be recorded. If you are under 16, ask your parent or guardian to review a learning provider's account terms with you.

HOW IT WORKS
Three steps to a verified record.
Submit
Download the certificate World Athletics issues, then upload your copy here for review.
Verify
A BehindEveryGame administrator checks the evidence. Your record shows the review result.
This is foundational awareness training. Course completion alone does not authorize anyone to work unsupervised with children or athletes.
OPTIONAL FURTHER LEARNING
Keep building your safeguarding knowledge.
These are separate Open University OpenLearn Create courses. Their certificates and digital badges come from OpenLearn Create, not World Athletics, and are not tracked by this pathway. OpenLearn Create requires parental consent for learners under 16 to create an account.
