BEHINDEVERYGAME / SPORT VOLUNTEERING
YOUR PLACE
BEHIND THE GAME.
Sporting events need people with all kinds of talents. BehindEveryGame connects volunteers in Trinidad and Tobago with sporting associations, events and community initiatives, then helps them prepare for the work behind the scenes.
01 / BRING WHAT YOU KNOW
More than one way
to volunteer.
You do not need to be an athlete to contribute. Share your talents when you register so organisers can consider you for suitable opportunities. Roles vary by event and are assigned by its organisers.
People & hospitality
Welcome participants and visitors, support guests or VIP areas, and help people find their way around an event.
Media & storytelling
Contribute photography, video, writing, design or social content when an opportunity calls for those skills.
Your own expertise
Bring skills from administration, technology, education, communications, health, logistics or another career. The network is open to many backgrounds.
02 / YOUR PATH
Join. Prepare.
Show up.
Create your profile
Register with email or Google, add your talents and interests, and tell us where you can help.
Explore events and courses
See published opportunities in the volunteer portal. Enrol in learning content and apply for events that fit you.
Build your record
View assignments and your volunteer ID, check in at participating events, and earn a course badge after completing lessons and passing its quiz.
03 / BEFORE YOU JOIN
Good to know.
Who can register?
People aged 13 and older can create a volunteer profile. Volunteers aged 13–17 need guardian consent confirmed by an administrator before participating in events or posting to the network.
Will I be assigned to every event?
Opportunities and assignments depend on each event’s needs. Your profile helps organisers find people with relevant talents and availability.
What if I am new to sport?
You are welcome. The network includes courses and event information to help you prepare, and many event roles draw on skills from outside sport.
How do I get started?
Open the volunteer portal, choose Register, and complete your profile. If you already have an account, choose Log in to view your opportunities and learning.
